By using our webpages, you consent to store cookies in your browser. You may refuse to consent to the storage of cookies, but this might cause the webpage not to function as normal.
The cookies are not linked to you as an individual. An IP address is defined as personal information because it can be traced back to a particular hardware and thus to an individual.
Powersim Studio AS uses built in functions for Google Analytics that anonymizes the IP address before the information is saved. Therefore, the stored IP address can not be used to identify a single user.
We use the analysis tool Google Analytics on our website. When visiting our website, the IP address is registered. Google Analytics is set up so that the IP addresses are only processed in anonymised form. The information can thus only be processed in deidentified form, and so that it can not be linked to individuals.
The purpose of our use of Google Analytics is to compile statistics which we use to develop and improve the information on the pages you visit. The statistics provide knowledge about the number of people who visit the various pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites the users come from, and which browsers and which devices (PC / mobile / tablet) are used.
Articles on this site may include embedded content (like videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the site from which the embedded content comes.
Data uploaded from user
When leaving a comment on the page, the information typed in, as well as the visitors IP-address and the visitors browser service will be saved. This is to avoid spam comments.
An anonymous text string generated based on your email address (also called a “hash”) can be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you have an account there.
If you post a comment on this site, you can ask us to remember your name, email and website. This information is stored in a cookie and is there to make things easier for you. You do not need to re-enter this information the next time you post a comment. These cookies expire after one year.
Visitors’ comments can be checked through an automatic recognition service against spam comments.
If you are uploading images to the site, you should avoid uploading images that contain information about the location taken (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and retrieve such information from images on the site.
Delete personal information
You can request that we delete all personal information we have about you. This does not include information we are required to store for administrative, legal or security reasons.
