More than 100 suppliers from the offshore industry were gathered at GCE Ocean Technology’s site in Bergen last week to attend one-on-one meetings with a panel of offshore wind representatives from Equinor.
Equinor explained their investments within offshore wind in Norway, Utsira Nord and Southern North Sea II, their contract strategies, technical concepts and operation and maintenance.
However, the most exciting part was perhaps the more than 65 one-on-one meetings that took place behind closed doors after the plenary session, where each company was given 13 minutes to pitch their proposals and ideas to Equinor’s offshore wind representatives.
