Smarter, smoother and more Intuitive

We’re pleased to introduce several powerful new features in pForecast. This release brings enhancements aimed at streamlining your workflow and improving data visibility across the platform. In addition, a number of bug fixes contribute to making the solution even more robust and reliable.

Time-Saving Excel Imports

When importing separation data via Excel in the Separation tab of Forecast Properties, existing data is now pre-filled automatically – a huge time-saver when updating your forecasts.

Cluster Visualization for Forecast Wells

You can now display forecast wells associated with clusters directly in the tree graph under the Capacity tab in Scenario Properties – making it easier to interpret complex well groupings at a glance.

Smarter Decline Curve Analysis (DCA)

The DCA dialog now automatically adjusts the trend range to align with the end of available historical production data. Say goodbye to manual tweaks and hello to more accurate forecasting.

Improved Defaults

The default setting for Max WCT in the DCA dialog is now set to 75%, helping you start with more realistic assumptions out of the box.

This release focuses on smarter defaults, automation, and improved data handling – so you can focus more on insights and less on configuration.
